He holds an MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Vaccinology from the University of Siena, and an MPH from Cavendish University Uganda. At Mildmay Research Centre Uganda, he leads multi-institutional research initiatives focused on vaccines, clinical trials, and digital health innovation. His work bridges implementation science, ethics oversight, and public health policy to strengthen immunization systems in low-resource settings. Dr. Mwaka has presented at global scientific forums and co-authored peer-reviewed publications on vaccination strategies, AI in health, and ethical research governance.

Prof. Tingzhong Yang is a Professor and Director at the Research Center for Digital Health Theory and Management, ZJU National Health Big Data Institute. He has advised the WHO on tobacco control and contributed to the WHO Global Action Plan for NCDs prevention. Dr. Yang is also an external faculty member at West Virginia University’s Injury Control Research Center and was invited as an academician of the Russian Academy of Social and Fundamental Sciences. His research focuses on social and behavioral science in health. He has published over 130 international papers and several books, including Health Research: Social and Behavioral Theory and Methods. Dr. Yang developed China-specific models and a theoretical framework for digital health behavior. He is an editor for the Global Journal of Social Sciences Studies.

Huang Wei Ling, born in Taiwan, raised and graduated in medicine in Brazil, specialist in infectious and parasitic diseases, a General Practitioner, Parenteral and Enteral Medical Nutrition Therapist, Acupuncture, Pain Management and Homeopathy. Since 1997, she works with the approach and treatment of all chronic diseases in a holistic way, with treatment guided through the teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hippocrates. Author of the theory Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Elements Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Author of more than 300 publications about treatment of variety of diseases rebalancing the internal energy.

Dr. Wenxiao Liu specializes in the pathogenesis and control strategies of infectious diseases in dairy cattle. Her research integrates molecular biology and digital technologies to develop rapid diagnostic reagents for common bovine infectious diseases. Dr. Wenxiao Liu is actively involved in the development of novel vaccines against herpesviruses and Brucella, and conducts in-depth studies on the antimicrobial resistance mechanisms of Pasteurella multocida. This includes uncovering the molecular basis of cross-species transmission of antimicrobial-resistant pathogens and resistance genes from livestock and poultry.

Shokoh Parham is currently a researcher at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Her main field in undergraduate and graduate studies was in chemistry and organic chemistry. She obtained his PhD in material-chemistry at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2016. After that, she joined as a postdoctoral researcher at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2016. She is specialized in advanced materials. Her research interests are biomaterials, nanomaterials, polymers and medical composites.

Anne Marie Moulin is an Emeritus Professor at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), affiliated with the UMR SPHERE unit in Paris. She is a philosopher, physician, and historian of science with an extensive academic career in France and abroad. Her research focuses on the history of medicine and science, as well as their intersections with culture, particularly in the Arab world and the Mediterranean region. Throughout her career, she has served in various notable roles, including Director of Research at the Centre for Demographic, Economic, and Judicial Studies (CEDEJ) in Egypt and as a member of the board of the French National Agency for Research on AIDS (ANRS).

Dr. Reynolds has a doctorate in psychoanalysis and neuroscience, and he is a Certified Psychoanalyst. He began working with brain injuries in 2016, and from this work he wrote "The Complex Architecture and Healing of Traumatic Brain Injuries (Cambridge Scholars Publishing 2023), and numerous medical journal articles. Also from this work he developed a Clinical Research Project: "Listening to the Brain/Recovering the Brain/Mind." At this conference he will present his clinical findings that concussions sustained by both boys and girls during elementary school, too often unrecognized, develop into post-concussion syndrome problems during adolescence. And that this progressive neurodegenerative process can become crippling for an individual by the time they reach college age and beyond.

Dr. Eduardo Garcia-Toledano is currently working as a Vice President and General Counsel of Global Health, Madrid, Spain. He is heading up the group responsible for the foundation's external liaison with all stakeholders working to support the availability of treatments for childhood cancer and rare diseases on behalf of the company. He has worked on programs for the Spanish Government Ministry of Health, social services and equality. His career has been focused on patient care and case management for patients with chronic and rare diseases, working with laboratories and orphan drugs helping people who need help and are suffering from rare and chronic diseases.

Prof. Andrey Dmitrovskiy was born in Almaty(1950), graduated from Medical Institute (1973), worked in infectious diseases hospitals, completed two–year residency at Kazakh Institute of Epidemiology (1979), worked at Anti-Plague Institute (1979 - 1999), from junior researcher till head of department. Defended PhD and doctoral dissertations, for diagnostics, treatment and epidemiology of zoonotic and extremely dangerous infections (Yersinioses and Plague). Since 2000, he was professor at Kazakh National Medical University, Infectious Diseases Department. In 2005 – 09, in parallel, worked in the Central Asian Office of CDC, USA and in 2011-16 in AECOM, USA as a manager for sustainable development. Since 2018, he is the head of Diagnostics and ExpertiseLaboratory of National Center for Biotechnology, Almatybranch (Central Reference Laboratory), in parallel - professor at Kazakh-Russian Medical University, ID Department. Under his leadership, 10 PhD and 3 doctoral dissertations were defended, he published over 425 printed works, including 6 monographs. He worked on outbreaks of a number of dangerous infections, including cholera, anthrax, plague, hemorrhagic fevers and COVID-19 in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Vietnam. Area of interest are diagnostics, treatment and epidemiology of infectious diseases, antiepidemic measures and biosafety.

As a Project Manager, she serves as a vital bridge between scientific rigor and operational field realities. Her presentation today focuses on the EBOSURV vaccine, a project at the heart of vaccine response strategies. Gisèle strives to demonstrate how rigorous project management can accelerate access to life-saving medical tools."

Dr. Amrita Natarajan is a biomedical researcher with a multidisciplinary background in dentistry, nanomedical sciences, and bioengineering. She holds a B.D.S. from the Army College of Dental Sciences, an M.Tech in Nanomedical Sciences from AIMS, and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering with a focus on Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine from SCTIMST, India. She has received prestigious fellowships from ICMR and CSIR, and has worked on DST-SERB-funded research. Her expertise lies in the development of advanced biomaterials, 3D bioprinted constructs, and in vitro disease models for regenerative therapies targeting cartilage, bone, and kidney tissues. Her work includes biomimetic scaffolds for cartilage repair, patterned hydrogels for renal tissue modeling, electrospun tubule models, and 3D-printed lattice scaffolds for various tissue regeneration applications. Dr. Natarajan previously served as Project Scientist C at ICMR, where she contributed to national biomedical ethics policy, including India’s 2023 CHIS policy statement. Currently, she is a National Science Foundation–funded Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Alabama State University, focusing on AI-driven renal tissue engineering. She also serves on doctoral advisory committees at multiple institutions. Her long-term vision integrates bioinspired design with advanced fabrication technologies for tissue repair and organ function restoration.

Prof. Bernd Blobel studied Mathematics, Technical Cybernetics and Electronics, Bio-Cybernetics, Physics, Medicine and Informatics at the University of Magdeburg and other universities in the former GDR. He received his PhD in Physics with a neurophysiological study. Furthermore, he performed the Habilitation (qualification as university professor) in Medicine and Informatics. He was Head of the Institute for Biometrics and Medical Informatics at the University of Magdeburg, and thereafter Head of the Health Telematics Project Group at the Fraunhofer IIS in Erlangen. Thereafter, he acted until his retirement as Head of the German National eHealth Competence Center at the University of Regensburg as well as Head of the globally unique International Interdisciplinary PhD and PostDoc College. He was and is still leadingly involved in many countries health digitalization as well as electronic health record strategy. He published more than 600 papers, published/edited many books and supervised a big number of PhD students from all around the world. He was German Representative to many SDOs such as HL7, ISO, CEN, OMG, IEEE, ASTM, SNOMED, etc., also chairing the national mirror groups. Dr. Rajeeb K Sah is a Reader (Associate Professor) in Public Health and the International Lead for the Department of Allied Health Professions, Sports, and Exercise at the University of Huddersfield, UK. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and the Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH), he holds an MSc and PhD in Public Health and is also a qualified Medical Doctor. His interdisciplinary research focuses on global health, social determinants of health, sexual and reproductive health, mental health, and health inequalities. A qualitative researcher, he employs co-production, ethnography, and participatory approaches in his work. Dr. Sah currently leads and collaborates on multiple community health projects in West Yorkshire and supervises PhD students in related fields.

Dr. Kadhim AlAbady is a distinguished public health and epidemiology expert with over 20 years of experience across academic, international, and national health systems. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health (FFPH), UK, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP). He holds a Doctorate in Public Health and Epidemiology, along with an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology and an MPH, all from universities in the Netherlands, and is a Grade A registered Epidemiologist with the Netherlands Epidemiological Society. Dr. AlAbady has held senior roles at leading institutions including Erasmus University, Queen Mary University of London, University of East Anglia, the United Nations, the UK NHS, Qatar’s National Health Authority, and the Dubai Health Authority.

Asifa Khanum is a senior public health and development professional with over 30 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, research, grant management, and program planning across Pakistan. She serves as Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research (MER) at the Rahnuma-FPAP, where she leads M&E systems, data innovations, and evidence-generation efforts. She has extensive experience designing log frames, theories of change, performance monitoring frameworks, digital data systems, and mixed-methods research for large-scale SRHR, youth, and humanitarian programs. She also serves as Acting Director of Program Planning, strengthening institutional proposal development, donor engagement, compliance, and strategic planning processes. Her research and evaluation portfolio includes assignments for CARE International, UNFPA, ILO, JICA, Population Council, WHO, and Contech International. She has represented Rahnuma-FPAP in national technical groups and advisory teams. Asifa has presented widely at regional and global forums including: International Conference on Family Planning, Colombia (2025) and Ethiopia (2013), Annual Public Health Conference, Pakistan (2022), Asia Pacific Conference on Reproductive and Sexual Health and Rights, Vietnam (2017) and Philippines (2024), in addition to representing the organization at national and international meetings, seminars, and workshops. Asifa is one of the lead researchers for a national study titled ‘Situation Analysis of Breast and Cervical Cancer in Pakistan’, conducted in 2023–24, funded by the WHO Pakistan. This landmark study provided critical evidence on the burden of cervical cancer and articulated the nexus between HPV vaccination, supporting national efforts toward cervical cancer elimination. With Masters degrees in Statistics, and Gender Studies, she remains committed to evidence-driven, rights-based, and locally led approaches to public health.

Dr. Amrita is a highly accomplished scientist with a PhD in Molecular Medicine and a Master’s degree in Immunology, specializing in regenerative medicine, immunotherapy, and cellular therapies, with particular expertise in CAR-based cell therapies. She holds diplomas from the American Board of Regenerative Medicine (ABRM) and is a member of the American Society of Regenerative Medicine. Her research excellence has been recognized with multiple honors, including the Extraordinary Young Scientist Award (2024) from the American Society of Regenerative Medicine and the Brilliant Talent of National Medical Sciences Student Award. Dr. Gianluca Straface is an accomplished obstetrician and gynecologist currently serving as the Head of the Obstetrics Unit at Policlinico Abano Terme, Italy. With over two decades of clinical, academic, and research experience, he has made significant contributions to maternal-fetal medicine, perinatal diagnostics, and fetal therapy. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and later completed his Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome, graduating with honors. Mr. Alibek Adil is a PhD student and infectious disease specialist at the Kazakh-Russian Medical University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. His research focuses on vector-borne and zoonotic infections, particularly Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases, with an emphasis on their clinical and epidemiological manifestations. He has been engaged in serological and molecular studies in natural foci of infections, contributing to improved diagnostic and preventive strategies in Kazakhstan. In addition to research, Alibek Adil lectures on infectious diseases and develops modern educational resources for medical students, with the aim of integrating clinical practice and public health perspectives. His broader academic interests include emerging zoonoses, viral hepatitis, and public health approaches to the prevention of infectious diseases.

Schola Kamwethya Peter is a Kenyan Biomedical Researcher specializing in infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance, with a focus on vaccine introduction and evaluation, immunity, diagnostics, and disease prevention strategies. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Immunology at the University of Nairobi, building on her MSc in Immunology from Kenyatta University and BEd in Science from Pwani University. Schola works at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) as a Research Assistant, contributing to high-impact studies on oral cholera vaccine evaluation, Salmonella Typhi and Non-Typhoidal Salmonella, and gastrointestinal infections to inform vaccine policy and introduction.
